:: wedding love { forest wedding } ::

I am in love with todays forest wedding shoot! it was featured on green wedding shoes ! Its laid back and beautiful and in the words of the organizer and designer: Stefanie Cepeda ” I’ve always thought of the forest as a magical place and I wanted to capture that sense of whimsy, magic, and life that the forest has. We created a dinner table filled with a table runner of ferns, golden woodland animals, and various jars of woodland treasures. We used lots of natural textures like moss, feathers and twine. Above the table we hung a chandelier of golden pine cones.”

I just love the gold and moss effect !

:: Decor DIY { dipped bottles, jars, and cans }

Browsing around pinterest i came across a lovely decor diy, thats perfect for wedding flowers, kitchen teas or even baby showers! It can even give your office, home or kitchen a new look or just a splash of colour! I just love this trend, especially since you can pick the colour scheme that works for you! Perfect for a pretty gift or to decorate a kitchen tea!

The method is very easy! Simply use cans, jars or utensils that are in need of new life! Make sure the ones you want to use is clean. Then pour the desired paint colour into a bowl that is slightly bigger than the objects you are dipping! Take your cans or jars and dip them into the paint, making sure that the paint covers the surface. Using a small brush, wipe the access paint from bottles! Let them dry upside down!

Tip ! { its usually a good idea to dip in thirds, so either dip only one third of the bottle or dip two thirds, so that only a small part is visible }
